Home Whitening

Home whitening is the least expensive route of whitening your teeth. The dentist will carefully take impressions of your teeth and make custom whitening trays that fit your teeth perfectly. These are used in combination with the whitening gel at home. A small amount of gel is squeezed into the trays and then worn for 4 hours per day.

Results	Up to 8 shades lighter
Advantages	Relatively inexpensive and more effective than shop-bought home whitening kits
Disadvantages	Takes longer than Zoom2! Inconvenience of wearing trays

Laser Whitening

For those looking for a much whiter smile in a very short period of time, Zoom2! laser whitening is one of the fastest whitening systems available in the world. Here, a higher concentration of whitening gel is applied to the teeth and activated with a high intensity plasma arc light. At the end of the appointment there is a noticeable change in the colour of the teeth. This is followed by a more rapid form of the home treatment to stabilize the colour change and enhance the final result.

Advantages	Quick, easy and comfortable with immediate results. Zoom2! Laser Whitening causes 73% less sensitivity than other ‘in-chair’ systems, such as Britesmile. It’s also longer lasting with less fade back

Porcelain Veneers

For those who have severe discoloration to their teeth, and where whitening has not provided the desired result, i.e. through Tetracycline staining, porcelain veneers then become the only other option for whitening your teeth. However we have found that when home whitening and laser whitening are done in conjunction with each other, the results of whitening Tetracycline stained teeth have been very impressive.
