How much does it cost?

There are many questions that people ask at the time of treatment. As you can see to the left, we have answered some of the most common questions to help you feel more confident about  any decisions you make about your smile. However, if you have a specific question that is not covered here, then please feel free to contact us.

How long does it take?

Every case is different, but as a guide, the usual cases (as shown in the gallery) took as little as two to three appointments over a seven to fourteen day period after the initial consultation. New technology however, has now enabled us to complete treatment in just 24 hours, subject to a consultation.

Is cosmetic dental treatment painful?

No. Modern techniques mean that even if you need a local anaesthetic this can be done painlessly. Our highly trained staff, in a calm and relaxed atmosphere, ensure that your visit is stress-free.

Who has cosmetic dental treatment?

People from all walks of life. In the past cosmetic treatment has been associated with models and movie stars. Now anyone can have it. Quite simply, if you’re unhappy with your smile, you can now change it to one you’re proud of.

A natural smile

At The Welbeck Clinic, using the most up-to-date materials and techniques, the smiles we create are made with veneers and crowns that have a similar colour, translucency and texture to natural tooth enamel. Also our technicians can contour the porcelain under your guidance so they look as natural as you wish. This will be discussed at your initial consultation.

How long does cosmetic dental treatment last?

That’s up to you and how well you look after it. Our highly trained team is always on hand to give you advice and provide you with a post treatment programme of brushing and flossing to help you maintain your new smile.

As a guide, with normal brushing and flossing plus regular six monthly visits to the hygienist and dentist, we would expect veneers and crowns to last for up to 15 years. After this time the veneers will start to look a little worn and may start to chip. When this occurs you may wish to replace them, which is easily done.

Tooth whitening treatments vary in their longevity depending on the original shade of the teeth but on average will last a minimum of eighteen months.

How do I pay for my treatment?

Payment is normally taken for the treatment undertaken at each appointment.

You can pay with cash, credit or debit card, cheque, up to the guarantee card limit, or with a banker’s draft.

We also offer 0% finance for 12 months (subject to status).  Please ask for further details.

How much experience do we have?

Yes. All of the dentists at The Welbeck Clinic have years of experience in this field and fit over 1000 veneers each year compared to other dentists.

They are all members of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) as well as the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD) and are dedicated to keeping themselves at the forefront of this field.

Dr Joe Oliver is the Director of Education of the teaching academy Cosmetic Dental Seminars. He regularly lectures and teaches on various subjects within the field of cosmetic dentistry, including Smile Design, Porcelain veneers, Dental photography and computer imaging (More information is available here: www.cosmeticdentalseminars.org)
